Breakfast at Paynes Find

The main purpose of our present Australian visit is clearly spelt out in part 1 and Paynes Find almost marks the end of our Outback Adventure. We will pass through places like Wubin, Bindi Bindi (Windy Bindi,) New Norcia, and the wheat belt around Dalwallinu until finally reaching Bindoon where we stayed the night in a car park behind the Information Centre at the invitation of the lady in charge. There was a hot shower and toilet facilities there and we were quite comfortable.

It was Sunday when we skirted around Perth and headed down into the South Western Region of Western Australia to a place called Rockingham for couple of nights. Everything we did or places we went to was going to be bonus from now on.
Rockingham is spread over a very large area. We took a bus to Perth for our first real look from here and were decidedly impressed - we decided that we must come back in a few days.
It would have been nice to have visited Augusta but it was just a bit far away so we made Busselton the furthest place south we would visit - it is about 300km south of Perth.

Busselton is an attractive place with a very long jetty - 2 km in fact. One night we walked along it to see the fishermen at work. They were bringing in heaps of herrings and a couple of Mullawy (???) about 600mm long. They told us they were small and they often get them up to 7 feet long on hand lines off this jetty. That's quite a big fish.
