Last
night I was watching a programme about the ship RMS Queen Mary and its
role during the II world war.
On its very last voyage prior to being sold to the USA and is now at
Long Beach Los Angeles in 1967. As usual the ship was being played out
of Southampton for a world voyage by none other than an RM band. I rewound
the programme and took a couple of pictures. I was in Pompey until 1966
but cannot recognise any one in the photo. Perhaps there is someone
who can and name the Drum Major?
