Massed bands as per previous photo in City Square outside City Hall in Oslo on June 3rd 1955 on the occasion of handing over the ships bell from the old HMS Devonshire to King Haakon/Haaken [unsure of spelling] of Norway.

The Devonshire was the ship that rescued the Norwegian Royal family and took them to England on the invasion of Norway by the Germans. Unsure of DofM and Drum Major, could you ask does anyone know?
