Just to let you know that we had our reunion last night (Sat 24/4/04) and what a success it was. Some had come out of the woodwork who had not been seen for over 25 years.

Thanks to Pete Westaway for organising the evening.

It looks like there will be another next year so to those of you who thought of coming or were unable to get tickets for this year, keep a check on the Ex Rmb website for details from Pete Westaway.

Here follow a few more photos from the reunion. On arrival the first person I saw was John Dunn it was spooky because my 33rd wedding anniversary was the same day which is why I took my wife along.

Hi Rich,

I see reports of the re-union are starting to filter through. It was a very successful evening all round, much to my relief. Even my wife surrounded by a room of comparitive strangers thoroughly enjoyed it.

I have received several thank you messages from those who attended. A decision has been made to hold a re-union next year on Saturday 23rd 2005 St. Georges day same venue but for 150 people perhaps you might make it? I already have had a request from one ex bandsmen aged 84 to reserve him a ticket, so everyone put the date in their diary for next year more detail will be published at the end of the year.

I must give a special thank you to Derek Scott who was a great help in spreading the word in the Plymouth.area. If anyone has any suggestions on how to improve on the re-union night I am open to suggestions. Thank you for your help it has been most appreciated. Lastly please convey my thanks to all who attended and made the first West country re-union such a special success.
