I
would like to personally thank all the Royal Marines who made it from
near and far to attend the funeral of my husband Rod (Jock) Stewart
of 3/76 on Thursday the 8th of September, my family and I were overwhelmed
so many of you came along, and for the beautiful white wreath from you
all.
I would have loved so much to have had the time to listen to all your
stories and talk to all of you who made it, Rod
would have loved it, if for no other reason than to show off his full
head of hair to you all!! Please feel free to email any little or large,
censored or not(!)..memories you have of those days, be wonderful for
us all, thank you to those who wrote messages in the book, keep them
coming!!
I am eternally grateful to you all, for the snippets of stories I heard
from some of you and especially hearing you
all messing about with air instruments in the pews when Soldiers of
the Sea played, priceless.
