UPDATE ~
G'day
Rich,
At
last I can say that I am now REALLY on the mend and not far away from
where I was. The Dr. tells me that I should hang in there for a few
more days, at that time the medication he prescribed would take effect
and see me again Friday (that was last Friday,) I couldn’t
believe it, I was so good I nearly had a beer! However that was the
good news, the not so good is, that he has put it on
the line for both of us, and stated that with your heart and stroke
prob's Bern, and Kath's memory loss it's time right now when you should
move to a smaller property.
That was good advice so right now we are house hunting with a driver
friend who is relaxed about helping out 'til I get my licence back in
August, we both realise that it's going to be heart breaking leaving
here after 35 years, but we do see the sensible side, so taking a deep
breath its all go!
In all I had some 136 emails cards letters and phone calls during my
down time, it just leaves me now to reply to all thanking them for their
love and concerns.
Rich, our Band Service must be the greatest of all organisations. I'm
so proud to be a part of it. Guess what? 'Dusty' Mike Miller just rang
and the family are on the way to see us, must be school hols.
More later mate and my thanks to you, for all my contacts
God Bless, Bern, Kath and Oscar xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

My
dear friends,
Just a quickie to say many thanks for your kind words thoughts and prayers,
I am now home and resting, having been diagnosed as having suffered
a minor stroke, it's left me ok with no noticeable damage outwardly,
simply tired out and frustrated, my driving licence has been withdrawn
for the time being, but I'll be back, more later when tested.
Bye now
God Bless-Maxie
