Richard, you've done a fantastic job of my memories & a great portrayal of Newcastle! The reason we visited Vancouver island was to join in with the celebrations of the centennial of British Columbia! With princess Margaret taking the salute! From there to Vancouver, onwards to Frisco through the Panama, two weeks in Jamaica & home to Pompey, into staff band and back to Canada for the C,N,E in Toronto! I feel very lucky to have served in the finest military band in the world & to have served with a fantastic bunch of mates.
