If my memory serves me correctly this was September 1967 '3/67 New Entry A Squad' (or one room of it anyway) whose room section Commander was Whitcher.

I think only Roy Kaighin, me and Roger Hartwell made it to pension. Any of you blokes out there remember what the room number was? It must have been a lucky number - I remember the frequent award of the 'House Cake' for high standards at room inspection time. The Squad DL was an Irish bloke known only as 'Corporal Curry.' Where did he go after a couple of years at Deal in the Pioneers and Provy?
