Lt Col Sir Vivian Dunn

Firstly, I was going through some bits & bobs and came across the Order of Service for the Funeral of
Lt Col Sir Vivian Dunn, which may be of interest to you.

I was one of the 12 Musicians that played that day, under the direction of the late Lt Col Richard Waterer. Prior to the Service, we played a selection of arrangements by FVD. The processional was Globe & Laurel and the recessional, Cockleshell Heroes.

As you can see, Dr Barry Rose was the Organist and the Service was conducted by the
Rev Dr John Watson.

After the Service, we were treated to lunch at the Red Lion in Lindfield; Roast Beef and all the trimmings.

RMSM Staff Band & Orchestra played for FVD's Memorial Service at St Martin-in-the-Fields London on 7th July 1995. Among those in attendance was Robert Farnon.

Whilst writing, I noticed that Brian Culverhouse passed away in August this year, at the grand old age of 93. He had a highly successful working relationship with FVD.

Finally, I found a link to a very short excerpt of Desert Island Discs, with FVD as the guest.

I listened on BBC Sounds, which you may not be able to access in the USA, but you should be able to hear it via the 'Listeners Guide.'

Albeit brief, I found it very enlightening:
