Sick Quarters

Hi Dickie

Am now at home after discharge on Friday morning. I'm told I need to rest (!!) - which is easier said than done!
(Corporal Radford told me to do as I'm told !!). I feel ok now and it was nice of you to put it on the band website for me (thank you V much), and receiving the replies from Dave Lambert & Mick Tellick. Additionally, I had an email from Ian Epps, which was warmly received. Olly Holloway phoned the hospital - I need to contact him if I can get his details. I thank my son Ian and wife Sue for the swift response in helping my speedy repair and recovery.

Obviously the doctors and nurses and surgeon were amazing too!

I look forward to seeing you all at the reunion in October!

[Editor] Whew! What great news amongst too much sadness. Now and then we are blessed with repair rather than the big sleep. We all look forward to seeing you in October Merv. Take more care of yourself please. Kudos to all your family. Not forgetting the doc's and nurses.
